Summer 2025 dates July 27, 2025 – August 2, 2025

The Challenge includes learning entrepreneurship through education and project-based learning. Teams creating a product or service idea. Throughout the week learning the entrepreneurial mindset, marketing and communication, financial literacy, economic and ethics, artificial intelligence, and teamwork. You will learn from PSU LV faculty, guest speakers, pitch competition winners, and networking experts. Activities include creating power points, logos and delivering pitches to more than forty family members and judges.  The winning team and most outstanding presenter have bragging rights to take back to school.

One-Week Residential Camp
Penn State Lehigh Valley faculty and staff deliver fun, interactive programs to teach rising high school students key strategies for starting a business and developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Through light instruction and team-building events, students gain exposure to real-world problems that they can solve in collaboration with business leaders. They'll form corporate teams, develop products and pitch their marketing plans... all while having fun and gaining critical-thinking skills that last a lifetime. Applying is as easy as 1-2-3! Take a tour of the TEC camp and see its positive impact. Campers gain valuable business skills in a fun environment that encourages camaraderie and team-building!

What to expect… encouragement, inspiration and lots of cool ideas.

 

 

Campers will:

  • Work in teams to design a product or service-based business
  • Learn market place dynamics, financial strategies, and how to make business plans
  • Present their strategic thinking in a pitch competition
  • All while having fun!!!

Plan to be enriched… Penn State Leigh Valley faculty and staff host an action-packed week. From s’mores and water balloon fights, to brainstorms and business solutions, this camp is an all-in-one experience of a lifetime.
