Teen Entrepreneur Challenge Summer Camp: Fun And So Much S’more!

On July 28,2024 twenty high students came to the Penn State Berks campus for the 2024 Teen Entrepreneurship Challenge. A program of Lehigh Valley LaunchBox. The Challenge included learning entrepreneurship through education and project-based learning. Each team of four created a product or service. Throughout the week they learned the entrepreneurial mindset, marketing and communication, financial literacy, economic and ethics, artificial intelligence, and teamwork. They heard from PSU LV faculty, guest speakers, pitch competition winners, and networking experts. They created power points, logos and delivered pitches to more than forty family members and judges.  The winning team and most outstanding presenter have bragging rights to take back to school.

One-Week Residential Camp
Penn State Lehigh Valley faculty and staff deliver fun, interactive programs to teach rising high school students key strategies for starting a business and developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Through light instruction and team-building events, students gain exposure to real-world problems that they can solve in collaboration with business leaders. They'll form corporate teams, develop products and pitch their marketing plans... all while having fun and gaining critical-thinking skills that last a lifetime. Applying is as easy as 1-2-3! Campers will:

  • Work in teams to design a product or service-based business
